You have to take the tank off, remove the valve covers, and check/adjust with the proper tools. Somewhere in this forum there's a description on how to do the entire procedure - that's what I used as my guide the first time. It's not all that hard but it is required that you do everything properly or risk damage to your engine - and it's kind of tight accessing the valves. Look in your email.
